Michael Kingston (Uncle Jake) recently wrapped a successful run as Sheriff Reynolds in Griffin Theatre’s Midwest premiere of Bat Boy. Prior to that, he was seen as Edna Turnblad in Paramount Theatre’s Hairspray.  Michael was fortunate to be a part of the North American tour of Flashdance the Musical in 2014-15. Other Chicago credits include Diabelli in 33 Variations, Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza, Charlemagne/Berthe in Pippin (Jeff Nominee – Best Supporting Actor), McCue in The Front Page, Hook in Peter Pan, and Morris in Fiorello! (Jeff Nominee – Best Supporting Actor).  TV credits include Chicago PD and Chicago Fire.  Michael is represented by Gray Talent.
